Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

I have come to appreciate Harrison Ford more and more through his role in the Star Wars franchise but more so because of his starring role in Bladerunner and its sequel. I expect the quality of the production to be top-notch and the plot to be compelling. Cast includes Antonio Banderas, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Mads Mikkelsen.

Asteroid City

I would probably watch anything Wes Anderson makes. I never watched the Darjeeling Limited, but he has made several incredible and artful films, like Moonrise Kingdom, The Royal Tannenbaums, Grand Budapest Hotel, etc. One testament to the success of his work is that he attracts some of the most prestigious actors around  and the casts only get better. The trailer for this one looks amazing.

Sanctuary

Margaret Qualley first got my attention in Fosse and Verdon, a series I reviewed a few years ago. Since then, she showed up in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (also reviewed here) and I watched several episodes of the more recent Maid series in which she starred. She is already a name in film, the arc of her career still climbing. This new role seems to have the ingredients of an award-winning role if she comes through. It’s got intrigue and it seems kinky, too, though hopefully not gratuitously so.

I will likely review these once I have seen them…

WRH
